You can check out our first impressions of the Fold6 on Finder.

Improvements over the Fold5 include a larger cover display, an upgraded Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a significantly lighter build and the implementation of Galaxy AI.

Samsung is pitching its new artificial-intelligence software as a real showstopper, allowing you to search the internet, summarize recordings, translate other languages and edit photos via quick gestures.

Apart from the aforementioned improvements, most of the specs remain identical to the Fold5, including battery size, RAM and camera.

Here's how the phone's specifications compare to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5.

Like the Fold6, the Flip6 has been given a faster CPU and an injection of AI smarts. The camera has been upgraded signficantly, with the aforementioned artificial intelligence resulting in some notable improvements to photography. It also has more RAM than its predecessor (12GB vs 8GB) and a larger battery (4,000mAh vs 3,700mAh).

Here are the key specifications.

Samsung has unfortunately bumped up the price of the Galaxy Z Flip6 compared to its predecessor. Upon release, you'll pay $1,799 for the 128GB version, $1,649 for the 256GB version and $1,999 for the 512GB version. That's $150 more expensive than the Flip5 versions were at launch.

It's therefore worth your while grabbing a pre-order deal from Samsung or Amazon to take some of the sting out of the markup.
