ESPN, which stands for Entertainment and Sports Programming Network, is a US-based pay TV channel that first came to life in 1979. The 24-hour pay TV channel has been available Down Under since 1995, with ESPN2 joining in the fun in 2011. It's the broadcast home of most big US sports in Australia, plus other events like UFC and the X Games and in recent years has broadcast Australian basketball. Each program comes with dedicated commentary and special programming. There are also analysis and talk shows such as Sportscenter, Pardon the Interruption, The Point and more.
