Finder Recommended badge use guidelines

Finder recommended badge

Congratulations on being listed as a Finder recommended product! Finder recommendations are selected by our expert team of reviewers to acknowledge marketing-leading products after extensive product testing in a category. The Finder Best and Finder Recommended badges are a strong visual cue for consumers as a stamp of approval from our experts. This program is separate but complementary to the Finder Awards program, where awards are given on an annual basis.

The Finder Best and Finder Recommended badges are free to use, but brands are required to reference the specific Finder URL where the recommendation is listed so that consumers can read the context of our recommendation.

Where you use the badge online, you only need to reference us once and should do so on the most relevant pages where you use the badge – for example, if you have a page specifically about the product. You are then welcome to use the badge as many times as you like across your website, at point of sale and across physical marketing materials and social media.

If you don't include the reference on your website, you must accompany each use of the badge on physical marketing (e.g. PoS, adverts and billboards) with the reference, such as in a footnote.

Minimum sizing and clearance
The badge is not intended to be modified and may only be used in relation to the product it was awarded to. The badge clearance space should be a minimum 25% of the total award size to maintain clear legibility. The minimum size for print is 40mm and digital is 70px.

Using Finder quotes across marketing materials

Brands are able to quote Finder articles across marketing and media materials such as social media, EDMs and other digital and written ads. Brands should reference Finder and, where appropriate, attribute the quote to the specific author who has written the content.
