Importantly, you are not locked into the full 12 months and can cancel at any time.

Is the BINGE deal worth it?

On a cost basis, paying just $4.99 a month for BINGE would make it one of the cheapest paid streaming service around, so it's definitely worth it in that sense.

The major thing to consider is that it's only available on BINGE's Basic plan, which contains ads.

Having ads on a streaming service is a deal breaker for some people, so even though it's a cheap streaming deal, you may be put off by the presence of ads.

It's also worth noting that BINGE is set to lose a bunch of popular content at the end of March due to the launch of Max in Australia.

Picture not described
Hit HBO shows like Euphoria will soon be departing Binge.

This includes HBO favourites such as Game of Thrones, The White Lotus, The Last Of Us, House Of The Dragon, The Sopranos, Succession and Euphoria.

From April 1, HBO shows will be moving over to Max, along with most content from Warner Bros. and its subsidiaries, including the Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Animal Planet.

With that said, Binge still holds the exclusive rights to Aussie TV shows such as Colin from Accounts as well as live sports for rugby league, Aussie rules footy, cricket, netball, golf and more.

While the Max exodus is definitely a blow, we believe the remaining content is certainly worth $4.99 a month.
