In the 2020 Finder Retail Awards, we surveyed over 14,000 Australians about their retail purchases to discover which were their favourite brands across 156 product categories.
For dishwashers, LG was ranked 1st for value for money, 2nd for features & functions, 3rd for performance and 5th for quietness.

LG was named the best-rated dishwasher brand in the 2020 Finder Retail Awards, beating 11 other dishwasher brands. Its products were recommended by 100% of people surveyed and the brand earned an overall rating of 4.61/5. LG also ranked equal second for features and functions (4.47), equal third for performance (4.53), fifth for quietness (4.39) and first for value for money (4.47).
To choose the 2020 Finder Retail Award winners, we surveyed more than 14,000 Australians about their retail purchases across over 150 product categories.
What type of dishwashers does LG make?
LG's range features more than a dozen dishwasher models, including freestanding and built-under varieties. All LG dishwashers feature the Korean manufacturer's QuadWash technology to clean dishes from multiple angles.
All models in the LG dishwasher range can accommodate either 14 or 15 place settings.
How much do LG dishwashers cost?
The cheapest dishwasher in the LG range starts with an RRP of around $1,050. Freestanding LG dishwashers are priced between $1,050 and $1,750, with built-under models priced in the $1,450–$1,750 range.
