Live stream cricket in HD free for 7 days with Kayo
The cricket calendar these days can be hard to follow, jumping from T20s and ODIs to traditional Test matches. So it's important to make the most of every 6, every catch and every over and know where to stream it.
While you can catch some of the action on free-to-air TV, if you really want to live and breathe all things cricket, you'll want to check out FOX CRICKET via Kayo Sports, Foxtel iQ or Foxtel Now.
Most of the cricket action is exclusive to Foxtel and Kayo Sports, with the 7 Network also joining in the fun. The Cricket Australia Live app can also be used to stream cricket, but it now requires a Kayo subscription to view the big matches.
All local Test match cricket and the Big Bash League is simulcast on Foxtel and Kayo Sports. Channel 7 has a limited selection of matches in the BBL and WBBL and all domestic Test matches.
Meanwhile, a new player has entered the cricket streaming space in Australia, with Prime Video announcing in December 2023 that it was becoming Australian rights holder for all ICC events until the end of 2027. This includes the men's and women's T20 and ODI World Cups, plus the World Test Championship final.
If you’re a dedicated cricket fan, you will want to get a Kayo Sports subscription or add the Sports HD pack to your Foxtel package.

Watch cricket on free-to-air TV
If you're a casual cricket fan, free-to-air should satisfy your cricket cravings, as the Seven Network has the rights. Fans can check out all men's Test matches and all women's internationals on free-to-air, which will be simulcast with Foxtel. Seven also shows a selection of BBL and WBBL matches. The Nine Network meanwhile will screen the 2023 Ashes series in England and the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in India.
However, it's important to remember that you can't stream Australian Test matches on 7plus and only Foxtel and Kayo have every Big Bash match live.
Foxtel and the 7 Network recently extended their deal to screen bilateral men's and women's series played in Australia, as well as the Big Bash competitions, until 2031.
Live stream cricket matches in HD with Kayo
Kayo Sports has access to all Fox Sports channels and extensive coverage of the Australian summer cricket season as well as international cricket throughout the year.
The Kayo streaming app offers live 4K streams with its Basic plan on a wide range of devices with a host of unique, sport-specific viewing features that need to be seen to be believed. This includes SplitView (watching 4 channels at once), picture-in-picture mode, hide scores, game day hubs and more. There are 2 price points: $25 and $35 a month for 1 and 2 simultaneous streams respectively. A 7-day free trial is available for new customers.
Kayo has the rights to stream all Big Bash League matches, select T20 international matches and most Test matches. Top flight domestic competitions such as the Sheffield Shield and Marsh ODI Cup also screen on Kayo.
Watching cricket in HD with Foxtel iQ
Foxtel has a dedicated cricket channel, Fox Cricket, which hosts live games as well as commentary and additional cricket-related programming. Foxtel iQ has the rights to most men’s Tests, all women’s internationals, men’s ODIs, men’s T20Is and all BBL and WBBL matches.
To watch on the big screen you’ll need a Foxtel subscription with the sports channels. Once that’s done, you can stream matches live to your mobile device or laptop with the Foxtel GO app, available for free to all subscribers. Foxtel is the only broadcaster to stream the cricket in 4K. You need the Sports HD pack and the Foxtel Plus package, making a total of $100 a month.
Alternatively, you can stream cricket matches with Foxtel Now. You need the Essentials pack in addition to the Sport pack for a total of $29 a month. So while it's cheaper than iQ, you're still paying around double the price of Kayo. But you do get additional entertainment options, whereas Kayo is only for sport.
You can watch Foxtel Now with Chromecast, Telstra TV, Mac/PC, Foxtel Now box, mobile devices, PS3, PS4 and selected Samsung, Sony, LG and Hisense smart TVs. A 10-day free trial is available for new customers.
Stream games with Cricket Australia Live
Using the Cricket Australia Live app you will have access to free Marsh Sheffield Shield, WNCL, Marsh One-Day Cup and selected WBBL live streams. The Cricket Australia Live app also features streaming for Australia men's and women's international matches, which require a Kayo subscription to view.
Getting started with Cricket Australia Live is as simple as downloading the free app to a compatible Android or iOS device. You’ll get instant access to highlights, news, live scores and statistics.
