Red tones

Prepare yourselves, because red hair and auburn tones are about to be the hottest hair colour of the spring and summer season. Warm tones and red shades have been incredibly underrated for some time now, but we're seeing more unique hair shades have their time in the limelight and we love to see it.

Mini braids

A style you've likely seen all over your Instagram feed at the moment is mini braids. Sported by Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, this style is super simple and easy to wear. It's also really fun making mini braids, and they're perfect for everyday wear for the warmer months.

2000s hair accessories

The 2000s is having a massive trending moment in the fashion industry and it's carrying on over to hair and beauty. Think back to those iconic butterfly clips, hair crimpers and, of course, a good ol' fashioned claw clip.

The lived-in look

After the months in and out of lockdowns, lived-in hair colours have not only become accepted but welcomed. Gone are the days of the perfectly blended balayage. Lived-in colour that has warmer undertones and a bit more of a rocker-chic vibe is going to have a big moment this summer season. It's also good news, seeing as swimming and sun affect colour so much – that's not as much of a worry with this look.

Slicked buns

The "Bella Hadid Bun" has been making the rounds on TikTok and we can expect to see it continue this spring/summer season. It's not only really easy, but it's great for those days where dry shampoo ain't going to cut it. It's also the perfect style to put your hair into when using a hair mask. Not only will a hair mask help keep flyaways down, but it will help improve your hair health before you wash it.

The "wolf" cut

I am emotionally, mentally and physically obsessed with this hair trend. It's literally the coolest style in my professional opinion and exudes bad ass vibes. I'm yet to see someone that the wolf cut hasn't looked good on – and if you've been thinking of taking the plunge, this is your green light to do it!
