After a big NFL season, we've made it to Super Bowl LVII featuring Philadelphia Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs, the top sides from each conference.

The Chiefs are in their seventh Super Bowl final and are looking to win a hat trick of championships following their victory over the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles in 2024 and 2023, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Eagles won their one and only Super Bowl for the 2017 season but have featured in five finals including the 2022 season where they came up short against the Chiefs.

What time is the Super Bowl LIX in Australia?

Super Bowl LVII starts at 10:30am AEDT on Monday 10 February at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Eagles vs Chiefs match preview

Even though both teams have been at the Super Bowl in recent years and won, things are different this year.

The Eagles have undergone major changes in personnel since their last Super Bowl win in 2018, including having a new coach and quarterback.

But the Chiefs have had minimal change throughout their productive 3-year run since winning Super Bowl LIV and LVIII.

Australians have an added interest in Super Bowl LIX as former NRL hopeful Jordan Mailata will be in the Eagles' starting line-up.

The Eagles have been the best defensive team all season while the Chiefs have led the way in offence.

There's hardly anything splitting the 2 teams.

The Chiefs finished their regular season with a 15–2 win-loss record while the Eagles went a similarly impressive 14–3.

The game will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which Kansas narrowly won at 38 to 35.

We think even though the teams are fairly evenly matched, the Chiefs will once again lift the trophy.
