A joint UK and French production, Death in Paradise is set on an exotic island in the Caribbean. A UK police detective inspector is transferred to the idyllic setting but he hates the sun and the sea with a passion.
Even worse, it turns out that heinous acts occur everywhere, so he has to use his skills to solve various cases that pop up along the way.
The detective in charge changes on a regular basis – DI Richard Poole starts the show and is replaced by DI Humphrey Goodman from series 3, DI Jack Mooney from series 6 and DI Neville Parker from series 9. That's an interesting way to keep things fresh.
Add some beautiful scenery and exciting cases into the mix and Death in Paradise makes for excellent comfort TV.

Where can I watch Death in Paradise spin-off Beyond Paradise?
Kris Marshall reprises his Death in Paradise character Humphrey Goodman in this spin-off Beyond Paradise. It follows the detective inspector as he and his fiancée Martha (Sally Bretton) leave London and relocate to Martha's hometown of Shipton Abbott, near the Devonshire coast, for a fresh start. But, as is the way with most sleepy villages on British television, the crime rate is surprisingly high in the town and things aren't as quiet as seemed.
You can watch Beyond Paradise on both BINGE, Foxtel iQ and Foxtel Now.

We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labeling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
We make money by featuring products on our site. Products marked as 'Top Pick', 'Promoted' or 'Advertisement' are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity.
