Based on the book of the same name by Anthony Horowitz, Magpie Murders serves two mysteries for the price of one.

The plot centres on a book editor who receives an unfinished manuscript from one of her most successful writers. When the author ends up dead, she decides to look into what really happened to him. At the same time, viewers follow the story within the manuscript, which gives off strong Agatha Christie vibes.
