Australian Federal Police officers and US NCIS agents must work together to solve crimes in the first international spin-off series of the successful NCIS franchise. NCIS: Sydney is set in a period of rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific. It sees a team of US Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) form a multi-national task force.
They will keep naval crimes in check in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet. With the show being filmed in Sydney, you can bet the spectacular backdrop of the harbour will feature prominently.
And for a show about naval crimes, it's the perfect setting. It will no doubt also stick to the tried-and-true formula of crime procedurals in that you can tune in and out each week without worrying too much about missing an episode here and there.
There's also a strong cast of both international and Australian actors.
