Inspired by the popular comic book series written by Brian K. Vaughan, Paper Girls revolves around a group of 12-year-old girls who deliver newspapers in the late 80s. However, one morning right after Halloween they are accidentally caught in a conflict between time travellers and arrive in present day.

When they encounter the adult version of themselves, they have to figure out whether they're satisfied with what the future holds – or whether they should do something to change it.

If that premise isn't enough to catch your attention, Paper Girls is a captivating coming-of-age story with fun sci-fi elements. If you're into Netflix's Stranger Things, there's a good chance this show will also be right up your alley.
