First to respond. Last to surrender. That's the motto of the Seattle firefighters who work tirelessly to save people from all sorts of dangerous situations – from fires to explosions to violent storms.

The series is a Grey's Anatomy spin-off, with the team including former anaesthesiologist Ben, AKA Bailey's husband.

If you're a Grey's Anatomy fan, you'll be happy to know that there are many crossovers between the shows, so you'll see familiar doctors hanging around the heroic firefighters. That being said, Station 19 stands on its own just fine, so there's plenty of action and drama to enjoy even without previous Grey's knowledge.

Station 19 season 6 details

Your favourite firefighters return for even more drama and suspense. Catch season 6 of Station 19 weekly on Disney Plus starting 19 October 2022.

The premiere episode, titled Twist and Shout, picks up 6 months after the events of the previous season finale. When a tornado rips through Seattle, the firefighters struggle to help and end up making a shocking discovery buried under a tree. In other words, the new season starts with a bang.

Merle Dandridge, Josh Randall and Pat Healy have been promoted to series regulars for season 6, while Kelly Thiebaud is set to make a comeback as Eva Vasquez. Ring the alarm: it's time to get back into action.
