Jason Sudeikis is charming in the lead role, portraying Ted Lasso as a big-hearted and optimistic guy you can't help but cheer for. Ted Lasso is an uplifting series revolving around the titular character, who likes to see the good in people no matter what.
When the show kicks off, he moves from the US to England to coach a football team, AFC Richmond, despite knowing close to nothing about the sport.
However, the team benefits from his guidance and Ted quickly endears himself to his colleagues and the community. Still, coaching is no easy gig. Additionally, personal and professional challenges quickly add up – and he might need a little help to overcome them.
